Sick in Spain

Going out the first week and discovering the city took a serious toll on me. Unfortunately I, along with other American and International students, got sick within the first few days of being in Spain. Since I was ridiculously busy in Miami and Maryland before leaving, I forgot to get a flu shot and thus resulting in my feverish state.

Luckily the worst day of it was the day before school started so when my first day arrived I was well enough to attend classes. Unfortunately that meant I was heavily drugged up for my first day and in my first class the room started spinning as I tried to concentrate on my teacher's introduction.

However, all being said and done, I am recovering and hopefully in a few days I will be completely okay. The raucous coughing needs to stop! I am in Spain and I want to enjoy the three S's that I hear so much about: Sun, Sand and Siesta :)
