Carnaval
The period of time before Lent where everyone dresses up and celebrates down the street. Usually in Spain, Carnaval is celebrated through festivals and street parades. People also dress up like Halloween in crazy costumes. My friends and I spent our Carnaval weekend in MADRID! One of the top four places in Spain to see the festivities, we definitely enjoyed ourselves.
